4 pieces you should have in your wardrobe

So here's the thing, I've been told by so many people that I should have certain items in my wardrobe by the time I hit 30 so I can have a "capsule wardrobe". While I do agree (to an extent) that some of these things are important, a part of me can't help but say, why the eff can I not have a little bit of fun with it?

This is my version of what I think every woman needs in their closet.

  1. Jeans. A great pair of jeans are so hard to find, but ZARA have a great and wide range of jeans and great quality that will last a life time. Go for a more wide leg look, rather than skinny leg this time. Wide leg jeans look great paired with sneakers or even a pair of heels.

I'm not saying to never buy skinny jeans again, but just to mix things up a bit. Plus they are great for anyone who may be in the shorter side like me as they give the illusion of extra height so yay!

2. A white long sleeve shirt. Perfect for wearing with a pair of jeans, or tucked into some dress pants or a skirt etc. One shirt with so many possibilities and it doesn't have to be boring. If you like a little bit of drama, try this one I found on Kookai

3. Black, white, and/or nude heels. (or whoever colour you want really)

The cutest heels ever. The little side cut out is the perfect kind of subtle edge you need to sproose up an outfit and I am here for it. I found these ones at Tony Bianco

The perfect way to jazz up an office wear outfit then go straight to after work drinks.

4. The LBD

I mean... do we love or do we love?! I for one LOVE this version of a little back dress by Runaway the Lable. This is perfect for date night with your partner, cocktail night with the girls, holiday party, birthday outfit, you name it! Pair it with a sequin bag and strappy black (or silver) open toe heels and you are there!

Until next time,

xo
